    Hello,
I had a new flat roof put on this addition a few months ago, from a guy with a good reputation. Now, I see some wrinkles in the roof that are pushing up on the shingles. You can see them pretty clear in the pictures. What is causing this?

I called him and he is going to come out too look at it. It is not leaking, it just does not look normal to me.

    Thanks

Most likely the roof is not fully adhered to the deck. This type of roofing system is called modified bitumen and is heat applied to the deck by a torch. Each roll must be 100% heated, if not, the rolls will buckle.

Unfortunately no, the roof would have to stripped and done over from scratch.
