    Hi,

I am in a miller & smith townhome and one of my window screens need replacement. I called the company that did all the windows and doors for M&S (called Barber & Ross), and they no longer manufacture the screens that matches the one I need replaced.

The windows are of custom size, and I cannot find the screens in any hardware store.. can anyone help?

    Thanks,
    Sri

Do you need to replace the "screen" portion or do you need to replace the whole screen and metal trim? If you only have to replace the screen, run down to lowes and buy some screen to fit (they have tons of screen there, just get it cut so you can take it home), then replace the screen portion by pulling out the little rubber strip from around the screen, its easy. If you need an entire replacement, maybe lowes or home depot or other glass shop can order you a custom sized screen and frame.

A couple of years ago I had a screen repaired or replaced (I can't remember) at Sterling Glass who used to be located on Church Road but have now moved because of the overpass going in there. I don't know where they've moved to but I'm sure you can find their number by calling 411.

I need the metal trim fixed too.. it is bent out of shape.

Thanks for the info. I'll check all the mentioned stores.

Finally... just went to Home Depot, bought some parts and did it all myself! Under $10!
