The additional assessment was $38 for single family homes on VDOT streets due on October 1, 2010. That accounts for the increase for the month of October. The new budget and assessments are announced in the newsletter usually in the November or December issue and fees go into effect Jan 1, 2011.

You received a letter in the mail from Armstrong Management about 2 months ago explaining exactly what was going to happen, what the Special Assessment charges were, how they could be paid and how it would affect folks who use automatic payments. It was also in the last 2-3 newsletters sent out to each home in Broadlands. Finally, it was also discussed on the forums here.

That's all I have to say bout that......
