I don't but a few of my friends are totally addicted!
ive quit. waiting for starcraft 2 and playing D2 and WC3 in the meantime
I actually still have my original (still in the white box) Gygax & Arnerson (?) D&D books. The original 3 + two addons.
Speaking of on-line games - are ther any BF2/2142 players? Thinking about jumping back in but need to find friends that are mature & in the same timezone. I was thinking about starting a "Husbands & Fathers" clan.
Uh I mean, why bother, they aint worth much. Tell you what, just because I am a nice guy, I will take that worthless garbage off your hands for $20.00
Zimbabwean or Fijian?
Haruumph! There are ladies present.
So WoW just had the pre-expansion patch and I am having fun in the few hours I have in between campaigning. This is another reason I am glad the election is almost here ... we are voting exactly one week before the expansion comes out, and I can get in line for my collectors edition. Damn I didn't order it yet, I better get to it.
But what I mean to say ... WoW will be fun again, leveling to 80, new raiding content, and new sexy clothes. Yeay ... 12 more days
While I have already pre-ordered my copy of the expansion from Amazon, since I will be on business travel when it's released, I think this would be a good opportunity to throw out an idea to everyone...
I know of at least 2-3 people from Broadlands who are planning to purchase the expansion the night it's released. Why couldn't someone 'organize' a Broadlands Wrath of the Lich King night, where fellow residents can all get together and 'wait in line' at the same store? Would be a great opportunity to meet some fellow players face to face, and who might be living just a few doors away from you! If I was in town, I would do it in a heartbeat! Maybe this could be the start of a "Broadlands Guild" on a common server!
So, who's willing to try and organize either of these ideas?
I plan on buying the expansion but I won't play in any of the new areas for at least a month.
Can you imagine when the expansion comes out what will happen?
50,000 level 70 characters all trying for the first post 70 quest all trying to kill that one level 71 piggie. Sheeesh.
I will wait for the crush to get past and then I can enjoy my post 70 experience.
The good thing about expansions is that the other zones will be empty and ahhhhh that will be so nice.
There are no level 70 piggies you nub.
Everyone will be going to start their Death Knight, so that is one thing I won't be doing. I will be leveling to 80, then I start my Death Knight.
And I would love to all meet up at one store to pick up our copy ... but we have to decide where to order it from ... and quickly before they are all preordered out.
And I would love a Broadlands Guild ona common server, I would move one of my 70s over for that one. But unfortunately for me that would have to be an RP one or I would have to reroll from nothing, since my 70s are on RP servers ...
I think it would be fun to start 'fresh' and re-roll, that would make it easier for folks to quest together, etc.
I wouldn't mind being the Guild Master, but I'll be pretty busy with work over the next few 4-6 weeks, so I couldn't devote a lot of time to 'managing' the daily guild affairs...
That's fine, we won't need much guild affairs managed, just make everyone officers so we can recruit and promote and shut people up and stuff.
Let's just not make it a PvP server, some people hate PvP ::raising hand::
There is nothing worse than being ganked by 12 year olds. So ... lets decide on a server.
Totally agree! We'll do this on a non-PVP server. Alliance or Horde?
As for server/realm, I suggest we stick with one in the Boston datacenter, set to east coast time. Realms which meet that criteria are:
I haven't checked the population levels on these servers. Any preference as to low, med, high population level? Any servers we should remove from the list for a particular reason?
I'll be happy to create the guild once we can get a few people on board; I hate running around trying to get strangers to sign a guild charter
Maybe we can plan on getting online sometime this weekend to start things up? I'm sure my neighbor John is in, so with Marianne and myself makes 3. Any other Broadlands folks interested? We could even turn it into an 'Ashburn' guild, I'm fine with that.
Finally, I would expect this to be a VERY casual guild. Just a way to hook up with folks/neighbors and play the game.
oh lets go horde. I am getting tired of Alliance and I love them Taurens
I would say medium population so you can find a group if necessary to finish zone end quests. Fortunately making money has gotten very easy in the game, so gearing up is not a problem even at low levels. And I can do horde.
For class balance, I love being a nuker or a healer, so priest, mage, or lock, is what I will probably roll.
For me, Tauren Druid... It just seems so right.
Yea, my specialty is a Druid; Bear Tank to be more precise...
Kitty form 4 da win! Sneak up and la machine them into itty bitty pieces.
I am more a stealther and a tank.
The only blood I want on my fur is the blood of the mob.
Ok, I created "Packinbeef", a Tauren Druid on the EXODAR realm. When I get to the city, I'll try to get the guild started. Any suggestions for a guild name? I wouldn't mind having something that references Broadlands or Ashburn...
Separate names with a comma.
