    xrays??? I don't feel broken, just sore and achy and tired-er than usual. and grammatically challenged. why would i need xrays???

    redon1 - just thinking out loud, but if you have whiplash (due the jarring impact - even at a low rate of speed) the dr's usually take xray's 1st and then a MRI to see there is any soft tissue damage.

    Cold would probably be better than heat... Ice, whine, Ice, wine, icewine, Ice, whine, X Ray ... my recommended course of action.

    thank you Dr. Sharse! My doc actually recommended heat- my muscles are extremely tight, guess that trumped swelling in her book. i think they got scared when i got hit and now they are seized up... i dunno.

    Some docs do that as a precaution, especially if you're rear-ended. Hope you're feeling somewhat better today!

    Or you could just leave a large bottle of Sailor Jerry & a box of Coke (red can) on the front stoop and make certain your "butt can" is put away. :happygrin:
