Old Trashcan?!

So, We left our trashcan out the last week of March as instructed - and we still have it. Normally I wouldnt mind, but the garages on a townhome are only so big and I'd like not to have two huge trashcans.

Obviously, I either missed the pickup date or mine was skipped over. What can I do with my old trashcan? I know that there are a stack of them by the pool off of Demott - can I drop mine off there.... or will i get charged for not turning in my trash bin?

Just curious. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My trashbin is still sitting outside in hopes that they will come pick it up. :rolleyes3:

 

You might find your answer in this thread. It sounds like Patriot will provide a good service.

 

Yeah - thats where it said they would pick it up the last week of march. But Im still sitting with my trashcan.

 

New Vision is supposedly making a final run today or tomorrow so just leave it out by the curb (unless you are feeling generous and want to drop it at the pool)
Any cans that New vision does not pick up Patriot has agreed to take care of. So either way the cans should be gone by next week sometime at the latest

So does Patriot know that some of New Vision's trash cans are not green? We live in a townhome in SW and were given a smaller brown trash can from new vision.
We called new vision to come pick it up and they claimed they never gave out smaller trash cans to the townhouses.
If we leave this one out, will Patriot take care of it? I have no problem taking it to the pool if that is necessary.

 

You can just put a note on it that says "trash" and they will take care of it properly

They picked up our trash cans and recycle bins yesterday on Ridgeway.

 

I wrote 'TRASH / ESTA ES BASURA' in black marker on ours, they took it this morning with the regular trash.
