Adult Baseball, Softball or Basketball

I am looking for a softball team to join in the Broadlands area. I am a decent player and would love to join a team.

 

Sorry for the late reply. I did find a team and they do need players. If your interested - let me know. We have a game Monday night and I'm sure I can get you in by then....

 

On another note...I'm still interesting in putting together an "ALL BROADLANDS" softball team to enter the league. I'm awaiting word from the league as to the next season - but, if your interested - pipe in - and spread the word. I'd imagine we'll need about 15 players and a couple of co-managers.

 

as in the fall season? That should be do-able - there has to be 15 able bodies out there to play...were you thinking of co-ed or just mens league?

Ahhhhhh, I miss the days of playing over 200 games in a year. Softball is one of the reasons T8ergirl nicknamed me "sports-whore" .

I was in 3 leagues when we met.

 

Okay - and away we go. Fall league starts late summer. Let's spread the word. The Broadlands Bombers will be entering the league. Qualification for the team is that you must live in the Broadlands. I will co-captain but travel some so I need a volunteer or two to co-captain with me. The league fee is about $600 plus we'll need uniforms. If anybody has any connections - let's work them to see if we can get sponsored. I'm sure Clydes or an establishment like it could be interested... Registration is in June so we have time - but, not too much time.

 

My husband is interested, so count him in as well!

 

btw - just mens - not coed. Sorry ladies. Let's try and keep it 25 and over too...good players are a bonus.

I would check with the Original SteakHouse and Glory Days. Sports and a sports bar are a perfect marriage. Gives the players somewhere to go after the games and also kicks $$$ back to the sponsor.

ALL - I'm going to start a new thread which is more relevant to what we are looking to do which is - to start an ALL BROADLANDS SOFTBALL TEAM - sooo, sorry to make you do this again - but, if you're interested - please post your reply on the new thread. This one is a bit outdated and misguided by the title.

 

That is because everyone is sitting in traffic and by the time they get home they get a couple hours sleep and start all over again. Sorry I could not resist
