ha.. I hope your company has someone with a clue in IT. Comparing full mailbox integration with calendars, address books, etc to imap style mail is quite.. uhh.. pre-k to PHd comparisons.

I have been using one that I received through work and I would never switch to this as my only device. While it is very cool for multimedia such as pictures and even watching movies, it is highly unusable as a phone or for entering text. The touchscreen qwerty does not have a stylus and you can not use your nails to tap the letters - you have to use your fingertip. Since the letters are so small, the fingertip approach results in many typos - even with the predictive text entry. The battery life is terrible and as anyone with an ipod knows - the battery issues that come along with that. The Cingular data network is one of the slowest - only TMobile is slower. If you have never used anything but Cingular data speeds on a phone you might not know any better but if you have ever used a Sprint Power Vision device (fastest data network) or even a Verizon VCast phone - you will immediately see the difference. Try watching streaming video on the iPhone and it will not be a pleasant experience - very grainy. If you have money to blow and are the type that needs the latest device - it is a very cool media experience - if you download and sync from your computer not OTA...but I wouldnt give up your other phone until you were certain you could deal with this as your primary device for staying in touch. BTW - i love Apple and i have the video iPod and an Apple laptop - so I am not an Apple hater!
