    What's a 419 scam? You've gotten the e-mail:

    "
    From: Scolla Sahili
    To: <Your Name Here>
Subject: PLEASE HELP ME INVEST IN YOUR COUNTRY
    Sent: Wed, 17 Aug 2005 20:29:56 +0300
    Dear Beloved,
Please permit me to introduce myself formally as Scolla Sahili, hail from western region of Darfur in Sudan but presently taking refugee in Ivory Coast. I do not know all about you as I am obliged to seek into the confines of your heart and bring to your knowledge on how helpful your assistance matters to my future.

My late father Dr Mandey Sahili, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Gold and Cotton Corporation of Sudan, died as a result of a power struggle between President Umar al-Bashir and the ousted parliament speaker Hasan al-Turabi, the main ideologue of Sudan’s Islamist government, while my mother died as a result of hypertension after our arrival to Ivory Coast.

It is my pleasure to contact you for a business venture which I intend to establish in your country..."

And they prattle on (in HORRIBLE english) about how they need to contact you (YES YOU!!!!!) to arrange for the transfer of several MILLIONS of US dollars to you - TAX FREE!!!! If you actually are dumb enough to engage the scammer you soon find out that they need a paultry $4,000 in legal fees to complete the transaction, a quick trip to Western Union and you are $4k poorer and your e-mails go unanswered.

Wanna see someone fight back? Wish you had the time? Well, the next rainy day you have and nothing to do, check this out:

This guy in the UK manages to not only waste MONTHS of these scammer's time, but has actually managed to get money FROM them.

I especially reccomend "Retired Wing Commander IV".

He also does a great job of educating folks on these creeps who can be very, very dangerous.

Yeah you certainly have to watch out for these guys.

I corresponded with one of these guys for a few months, it was fun to lead them on. Even told them I was gonna fly out in my private jet to meet him.
