A Few FINANCIAL Questions Re: Taxes & Home Loans

I have a few reference requests, if you don't mine

We're new to the area, and we're looking for an accountant for tax prep. Any recommendations??

Second, we are home-renters toying with the idea of becoming home-owners here in Broadlands. We like the area enough, so we're going to stick around. Anybody have a loan officer they've used before? Someone who is creative and clever? We're looking for someone with VA loan experience.
