Having never owned anything gas operated before, do you get a service contract for both the ac/heat? Has anyone used someone they can recomemnd? I am pretty sure that just changing all the filters in the house is not enough.

I usually have someone come out every few years to check out the furnace and the a/c units. Most service companies offer service contracts that you can purchase.
I'm having mine checked in a few weeks by John Murphy. He's a Broadlands resident that runs his own heating/cooling business. Charges $65/unit to service them.

Thats a good price. Especially if he does a thorough job.
