Missing one? Fins and Feathers came to verify. Unfortunately it was 40 feet up. Fortunately it was chowing down and in flight, so it is healthy!

Sure it was not a Norwegian Blue, perhaps pining for the fjords?

    Beautiful plumage!

    :)

Fields. It's pining for the FIELDS. Not the fjords.

    Back on topic . . .

    Heres a bigger picture:

Anyway, I did not mean to hijack the thread. I hope this African Grey can find its way back home.

That would be all well & good IF we were talkinga bout a Norwegean Blue. But we're not, are we? We're talking abotu an African Grey. Last I checked, there are no Fjords in Africa.

    We must respect the Python.

    However, we are transgressing.

All joking a side are African Grey parrots a pretty hardy bird able to withstand the wild temperature changes we have had in the last few days, in addition to the monsoons?

If this lost bird were to fly into our yard what should I do? I would be afraid to try to catch it for fear of injuring it. Do these types of birds come to people?

I am definitely not a boid lover but I can sympathize that a lost pet is a lost pet and I am sure the family must feel bad about this.

Do we have a location where this boid was seen so we can keep our eyes peeled for this guy as well as the cat?

The bird in the trees that back up to the path off vestals/gentle heights.
The bird has been heard today but not sighted.
The bird is fully flighted and we've not seen any tags on it.
If you can get it with a net or a sheet there is a healthy reward apparently. From what I've read they are very social but this guy/gal is not talking...
