Zansu- Sorry. I put this comment here as a bit of levity because the hospital threat gets a bit hot. I will admit that I have my opinions and will share them. I'm sorry if when I post the reasons why I support it, give my opinions why, and give the facts on how I reached them, you get "fed up with my attitude."
I promise to keep hospital posts on the hospital forum (unless I feel the need to respond to another hospital post on a non-hospital forum).

 

Hmmm...good thing our new hospital is going to have a mental ward, if someone can get this upset about free speech, they may need some help[8]

Excuse me, but do you see anything about HCA from me in this thread (except to respond to your accusation)? I think you should check if other posters brought up HCA (or LHC) in other threads before I posted anything about HCA if you're going to accuse me of being off-topic. I suppose this means that you have never posted off-topic comments in any forum thread...

 

Hey, and while we are talking about thread hijacking and hypocrites, let's reminisce about a thread hijacking that occurred recently in the "Tragic Story in Broadlands Last Night" thread. Who was the hijacker, you ask? Why, it was our very own luvmyredslk320, who took over the "Tragic Story" thread (TWICE!) with her religious and political views:

And in the interest of keeping this thread on point, I found the Post article to be quite interesting. I liked the photo of the Southern Walk home that was posted in the washingtonpost.com article.

pdonnadurk: Talk about spin! Are you dizzy from all of it you are doing? I did not start the fast slide toward the insanity posted in the Tragic Story thread. Once people like you and others started to attack the families, I did stand up for them and I acknowledge that. I'm sorry that you lack basic human sympathy for those families. I guess souls are lacking in these parts.

And, since it is impossible to have a conversation with people like you, and VACliff hi-jacking a conversation, I've changed the topic of the thread to let you post all of your ranting while staying on topic.

T8: I'm no lefty, but I don't let right-wingers tell me (1) where I live, (2) how I live, and (3) what I choose to do. I'm sorry that it ticks off the right-wing for a woman to be independent and not subservient to a man, but it just happens to be who I am. Sorry to offend!

You both accuse me of being "thread-jacking" and single-minded about my posts. If you bother to look (and I know Chris is aware because she posts on almost all threads) you will see that I have participated and commented in dozens and dozens of topics. The fact that you seem to be blind to this leads me to the conclusion that you are the ones single minded and blind in your opposition to the hospital.
I will now no longer post any hospital related comments on this thread. Please continue your attacks on me on the hospital thread.

 

I'm pretty sure pdonnadurk did nothing to incur your wrath (she actually stayed on topic), so I will assume that you meant to direct your rant at me. Doubt we'll see an apology, though...

You obviously did not follow the "Tragic Story" thread very closely. Look again, and you will see that NOT ONCE did I attack the families. I expressed my support for the familiies on numerous occasions (staying on the topic, I might add), FREQUENTLY CRITICIZING the views of smythla, killer bee, mearen and others who did attack the families.

I suggest that you re-read the entire "Tragic Story" thread and get your facts straight before your leg follows your foot...
