April Activities at the Nature Center

    Predators (ages 6-8)
    Wednesday, April 11th 5:00-6:00
Predators, those animals that hunt and eat other animals are a vital part of the natural world. Investigate the special adaptations of predators and prey. Learn about foxes, owls, hawks, and other predators and find evidence of their presence at Broadlands

    Spring Babies (ages 2-3)
    Thursday, April 19th, 9:00-9:45
Spring means lots of animal babies outside! Let’s search outside for new signs of wildlife such as eggs, nests, and the babies themselves. We will also read a story and make a nature craft to take home. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please call or come to the nature center to register.

    All About Birds (ages 4-5)
    Monday, April 23rd 4:00-5:00
Birds are amazing creatures with wonderful adaptations such as wings, beaks and feathers. Come to the Nature Center to learn more about these flying marvels. With a combination of books, crafts and an outdoor hike, we will see what we can find out about our winged wonders.

All programs are $5.00 and will be held at the Nature Center unless otherwise stated. Please call or stop by the Nature Center to Register. A minimum number of registrations must be made or the program will be cancelled.
