A new service of the HOA has been brought online. Armstrong Connect will allow you to access your HOA account, association documents, community news and calendar.

And its only accessable by Broadlands residents. You should expect a letter from Armstong Management today, or Friday. DO NOT lose the envelope, as the address label contains the one-time registration code you will use to register on the website.

Once registered, you can create a PIN for your use in the future.

We moved in after this initiated and being that we were inundated with mail and new home info, I don't know if we got this code or just ignored it. Is there a way to still register with Armstrong Connect?

Call Wes at the HOA, and he'll put you in touch with Armstrong to get you your ID and Password.

I agree ... the HOA staff is still learning the capabilities of the system. However, as data is entered, you'll be able to track all the modifications done to your property, any infractions of the covenants that have been noticed, as well as see how up to date your HOA dues payments are.

It has alot of potential, just not being fully used.

Not trying to open up a can of worms here, but was the 'availability' of Armstrong Connect a partial reason for any increase in costs for using Armstrong Management? I see VERY little value in the site, and it's been up for 6 months now. The only value it has right now are the documents it contains, which would probably be much more accessible if we simply put them all on this site.

Any way we can get accurate usage logs/statistics for Armstrong Connect? I for one would hate to see part of my dues going to this service if less than 1% of Broadlands residents even use it...

No can of worms, the entire Armstong Connect package includes the website, as well as enhanced management software that is being used in the HOA office.

This system gives the HOA the capability to send of mass emails thru the system, as well as recorded emergency phone messages to the homeowners in Broadlands. The website gives the HOA staff the capability to instantly upload any announcements by simpling filling in a form, much like one does on these forums.

The HOA office software allows the office to load up Modifications history, maintain infraction data with accompaning documention and photos, as well as allow the staff to have all relevant lot, house and homeowner data at their fingertips.

The website grants the homeowner access to his account and payment history, as well as Modifications history about his/her lot at any time prior to ownership (if they are the second owner) and during their ownership. Some of the older data is slowly being added using the HOA office software, but it should all be in the system within the next 12 to 18 months.

This cost is outside of the normal management fees, and only costs the HOA $200 a year, that's about 8 cents per home.
