    Attract Butterflies, Birds and Bees to Your Garden with Native Plants

    The Broadlands Homeowners Association and Kim Strader of the VA Native Plant Society will present a “walk and talk” entitled Virginia Native Plants for Butterflies, Birds and Bees. Kim is the curatorial assistant at the State Arboretum of Virginia and will lead the program at the Broadlands Nature Center. In her talk she will reinforce how plants that are native to VA can be incorporated into the suburban landscape.

    Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 1-3pm
    Admission – $5.00 per person preregistration required (this fee includes a children’s program from 1:30-2:15 ).

    The family nature activity from 3-4:00 is canceled.
