    Hi All,

An Auditory Integration Training (AIT) session has been scheduled in the Dulles Area for Spring break. I thought I would post this, in case it could help anyone. My son has done this program, and we had huge gains. We are planning to repeat it as research shows if it helped once, a second round can often lead to additional gains. I get nothing out of posting this, except reaching other people who might be in the same situation as my family.

Who can benefit from AIT? Here is a little bit about it.

NOT the Listening Program - NOT Therapeutic Listening, NOT a home program – BERARD AIT is a POWERFUL intervention, provided 1:1 with professional supervision at all times.

    • Does your child have difficulty coping with certain sounds?
    • Is he/she struggling with auditory processing?
    • Does your son/daughter hum or self talk?
    • Is your child having trouble with articulation?
    • Is the quality of your child’s speech flat, without inflection?
BERARD AIT is a procedure which enhances aspects of hearing perception. Individuals over the age of 3 can participate in the training program. Teenagers and adults benefit also. The treatment is not invasive. Individuals with Autism spectrum disorders, ADD, LD, PDD, CAPD, and hypersensitivity have benefited from this innovative therapeutic program. This powerful program has been shown through published research to be effective and safe.
