We went downstairs today and found the baseboard in a closet downstairs damp and warped from water coming in from (and I am only guessing) a crack in the foundation. Not sure who to call about this. Anyone have any ideas. :rolleyes3:

We just had a foundation crack repaired and are happy with the results and the contractor we used (Braddock Construction).

Here's the contact information for the two companies we narrowed it down to before choosing our contractor:

I would not recommend Triad as they insisted that both my husband and I be home for the estimate and then they didn't show up, despite them calling us the night before at 9:30 pm to make sure *we* would be home.

How long have you been in your house? We had a small crack near a window when we did our original walk through. It was noted and when it spread and started leaking, we called our builder. They sent someone to fill the crack with epoxy and it's been fine ever since (about 3 years). There are several waterproofing companies that specialize in this.

We just found BLACK mold in our basement. Any recommendations on a company that removes the mold?
