Bird nest with eggs discovered during construction

    I am pulling up some floor boards on my deck to replace with composite decking and discovered a nest with 4 bright blue eggs inside. Mother bird is quite unhappy, but I am not sure what to do about it. Nature gurus, if I move the nest to another location will mother bird follow? Right now, she is getting wet becuase the deck flooring that I removed was her roof. Also, anyone know what kind of bird this may be (it looks common gray with an orange beak). Picture below...

    Those are the eggs of an American Robin. I'm no expert on this, but I wouldn't touch the nest or you risk the chance the mother will abandon it.

    Until they get to that part of the deck, can you put something temporarily over the nest to give it some cover? Like one of the old pieces of wood or a piece of the new Trex. Are you keeping the supports underneath or will that be removed too?
