Just wanted to pass along that Blue Ridge Grill next to the movie theater in Brambleton is now open. I haven't had a chance to go yet but have enjoyed their Leesburg location and look forward to trying it.

I look forward to some reviews. I'd like to know roughly how much their lunch entrees cost.

They were training when we went to the movies on Sunday, but there was no opening date posted.

They opened yesterday afternoon. Just walked past it tonight and had a reasonable amount of seats open.

I went to Blue Ridge Grill on Sat. night. The Baby Back Ribs and the Spinach & Artichoke dip were both very good. Nice atmosphere and the service was good. I think it is really going to be hard on Nick's.

Our first experience wasn't so good. Menu is somewhat limited, and I thought prices were rather high for the quality/setting (we went at dinner - Sandwiches in the $10-$15 range; entrees in the $17-$28 range). I ordered the Baby Back Ribs ($19 with fries and beans) and they came out cold - I sent them back, and they returned luke-warm - by then my family was half-way through their dinner so I didn't bother sending them back a third time. Only 3 desserts on the menu - prices for desserts was $5-$7. Wife got a grilled chicken salad (it wasn't bad, but nothing outstanding); daughter got a prime rib sandwich ($15 with a small side of fries - again, nothing very special).

We probably won't go back - better menu, better food, same prices at Not Your Average Joe's.

oooh NYAJ is a FAVE of mine- such a great menu and the BEST Bloody Mary's!

But I don't know that Blue ridge is a direct comparison for NYAJ- its a simpler fare at Blue Ridge. NYAJ can't be compared to TOO many places right in town actually- it's unique in several ways.

Nick's or Village Grill or Original Steakhouse seem more comparable. I will be trying Blue Ridge tomorrow and will return weitha full report! :)

We went to Blue Ridge Grill on saturday night at 5:30 - expected to find a wait, surprisingly there was none. I thought it was a very nice place - more open and brighter than the leesburg location. The menu is a little different but still their meal choices are some of my favorites. It was a really good experience. There was 4 adults and a baby ( high chair). It was filled by 6-6:30 with families and there was a wait as we were leaving. The service was good - need to take into consideration getting the kinks out with new servers and wait staff. Apparently the bread is on a request basis - I thought it was odd we did not get any with our salads until we asked.

Overall it was good (I still think it is very close to Sweetwater) and will return.

if i remember correctly the guy that owns blue ridge grill was one of the guys to start up sweetwater. that's why the menus are similar. we went on sunday at lunch and it was great. to quote the hubby "that's the best burger i've ever had" :) we've always enjoyed them in leesburg and i'm glad they've opened close to home.

That is my impression also. The food is ok but the selection is limited and a bit pricey.

So it is, in my opinion, not a bad place, but does not have much to place it above the other great places in the area.

We LLLLOOOOVVVEEEE BRG...and the fact that it's on my list of pregnancy cravings, we'll be there quite often! Their Lobster Bisque is delicious, hamburgers are very tasty, Brenthouse salad is one of my favs, and my husband has yet to find a sandwich there he didn't like. I'm so excited that it's nearby now!

I ate there last night. It was packed and there was a wait. The bar was also packed and it wasn't just people waiting for a table. The food is very good and the service was outstanding.

Went again tonight with family. Everyone enjoyed their food and service once again was wonderful. Also tried dessert tonight. OMG, the banana pudding was fabulous. We were there before 5:30 and no problem getting in. When we left, there were a few people waiting for tables.

This place is great. We have been a couple times already and the service is very professional and the food was pretty good. Great atmosphere too and I appreciate their attention to detail.

had a great experience tonight also. hubby said lobster bisque was outstanding. he and The Boy also love the steak and cheese egg rolls. I had a perfectly cooked (medium) BRG burger- so much flavor in the meat it didn't need ANY sauce. creamed spinach- a little salty to me but on the verge of greatness!

service- excellent- 4 different servers made sure every need was met before it had to be requested. The Boy gives the Dominion root beer in the bottle 2 thumbs up!

glad it's here- i could see this nicely laid out place being very popular here in Ashburn!
