Broadlands children's fun fair this Saturday (8/3)

Hi Broadlands friends!!! This Saturday, Aug. 3rd from 11am-1pm is the annual HOA children's fun fair!!! Please come on over to the Nature Center and enjoy several different types of inflatable slides/obstacles, craft tables, misting arch, balloon twisters, face painters/glitter tattoos, a traveling magician and get your groove on listening to the DJ. We'll have carnival fare such as cotton candy, popcorn and sno-cones all for free!! Sorry no food truck this year. We will also have a wonderful group of ladies raising money for their Susan G. Komen 3-day team. They will be selling water/juice boxes for $1/bottle and will also have a silent auction with a variety of items donated from the community including gift cards to many local places such as Zazu, Parallel, Blue Ridge Grill, 1757, movie buckets....etc. Many items start at $15. We will also have a wonderful young lady running a lemonade stand to raise money. Please come out and enjoy the afternoon with your friends and neighbors!

 

Thank to all those that made this event so nice. The kids really enjoyed it. Remind me next year and I will try to sponsor some lunch for everyone.
