First of all, we would LOVE for you to invite tons of family and friends to this event! It would be SO MUCH fun and we have some really cool activities lined up.

Broadlands First KEGS & EGGS St.Patty's Day Celebration will be held THIS Saturday March 14 from 9:30am-12pm at American Flatbread in the Broadlands Marketplace Shopping Plaza (right next to Glory Days). ALL ARE WELCOME! Kids 5 and under eat FREE, children 6-12 are $5, and adults are $15. Come enjoy a wonderful organic, locally grown buffet brunch with endless tea and lemonade, fun acoustic music by Dave Dulansey of Karma Elektra and Derrick Harris & Rich Schafer of The Derrick Harris Band, as well as facepainting and leprechaun antics! This will be a great brunch for the WHOLE FAMILY!! American Flatbread has all kinds of beer on tap, so bring your ID and some cash for that. Come dressed in green and bring a pair of new or used shoes to donate for a huge Briar Woods project (...and then ultimately they will be donated to DC's homeless) to be eligible for fantastic door prizes:

Bring your friends, family and neighbors- you won't want to miss this great green party with a cause!!

RSVP to sunny at smartneighborhood dot net or arabena at comcast dot net so we can know how many to expect. If you forget to RSVPā€¦come anyway!

Not to be debbie-downer, we had a fun time and the pizza was great (we've never been there before), but man was it expensive! Total plus tip was $50...I don't think the entire family ate that much worth of pizza. On the positive side, I'll go back to American Flatbread again because the pizza was really good!
