Someone either backed into my mailbox or pulled it off, so I need some replacement help. The actual mailbox is fine, most of the pole is fine to. The only thing that broke is the bracket that holds the mailbox on the post.

Is there anyway to just replace the bracket or do I need to get a whole new post approved by the HOA?

Contact Van Metre's design center, last year the bracket cost us $50 to replace. Since you are NOT replacing the mailbox/post with a new design you would not be required to submit an application to the Mod Sub Comm/ARB for approval.

Broken - I assume that you live in the Southern Walk section, if so that's why I recommend you call the VM design center.

This happened to us last year and we were sad. We were told to call Mailboxes Plus. We did, they came, they fixed, we paid $65, we got re-imbursed by the guy that broke it, we became happy again. And everyone lived happily ever after. The end.

When the door broke off our mailbox, the next day there was a new mailbox there magically. We don't know who put it there, we assumed it was the postal service. It was actually pretty cool.

I dunno who dunnit ... I just know that we already tried to figure out if we could pick just any mailbox and get rid of the design that we didn't like ... but our rebellious thoughts were squashed with the new mailbox appearing magicallicious. :)

Mailboxes plus is going to come out and fix it and I have the address of the person who broke it. All is well.
