On ours ~3AM last night (14th) someone on a bike (wearing a backpack) rode by. Must've been a late study night...

They were also being conscientious citizens and checking to see that the car doors were locked in our driveway...

I am wondering if you have turned the footage over to the Sheriff’s office?

In the past we have turned over our surveillance footage. In a couple of instances it lead to the “kids” being identified by the Briar Woods/Eagle Ridge SRO (student resource officer) and subsequently lead to charges being filed against them.

A few years back, we had some pretty cheap custom signs made (I think the signs cost >$20 a piece) and three kids decided they wanted them. No big deal, but I posted on the forum the kids had until the end of the week or I would post the footage on the forum and then turn over our video footage to the Sheriff. All the signs were returned, each with a handwritten apology note. So no harm or foul.

After all we were all kids once and I know I had my share of “stupid things” - so I chalked up the sign-napper(s) to a poor decision. But in your case I would call the non-emergency number. File a police report and give them the footage, but that’s just my opinion.

There was a good bit of unruliness at the Briar Woods football game last night that could have spilled into the neighborhood last night. If it looked like a high school age student, call Briar Woods and ask to speak to the school resource officer, Officer Baker....he will follow up and take care of it, if the person can be identified.
