Chesterbrook Academy in Ashburn

    Our nanny of almost two and half years told us she is ready to move on this evening. We were looking at day cares earlier in the year for our two and half year old twin girls. This seems to have forced our hand though. We were pretty impressed with what we saw at Chesterbrook Academy.

    Can anyone provide any insight on what their experiences there have been?

    Both of our kids attend Chesterbrook and we have been pretty happy with the overall experience. The turnover rate for teachers seems to be pretty low and the majority of teachers have been there for a while. If your girls are 2.5 they would likely be in Ms. Karen and Ms. Lisa's class. My older child was in their class last year and we thought they were wonderful. Best of Luck in making your decision!

    I can't give any insight to Chesterbrook, but since you're looking for child care, let me put a plug in for where we have our 2 and half year old son:

    It's an in-house daycare and has been absolutely perfect for us. I've got nothing bad to say about it. We've been taking our son there since he was 9 months old. If you're still looking around, I highly recommend her.

    our son has attended chesterbrook for 2.5 years and we have been happy. I am not so sure about the class that your twins would be in since the teachers are different since my son was in that age group. However, Miss Karen and Miss Lisa are fantastic! The next class, where my son is led by Miss Tina who is VERY good as well as her assistant. We have been happy and plan on keeping him there. Our son's three cousins also attend which is where we got the recommendation in the first place.
