CIA Armed Guards?

I drive by the CIA on Rt. 123 on the way home from work each day in the late afternoon. The last few days there have been four heavily armed guards (with large automatice weapons at the ready) spread around the entrance right on 123 scanning the cars going by. Does anyone know what this is about? My thought is there have been VIPs of some sort coming and going or there is a credible threat of some sort against the CIA. The shooting there was back in Jan of 1993 so it's some kind of anniversary or anything.

 

I saw them yesterday when I drove by around 4pm--caught them out of the corner of my eye and at first thought it was a speed trap. Then I looked more closely and realized that they weren't holding speed guns! Thought the same thing--someone important must be visiting....

 

Probably reinforcing security due to the recent Pentagon shootings.

 

This... There were shootings in other facilities besides the Pentagon.

 

so glad no one has been hurt, but this feels a lot like someone gauging response and readiness to ramp up for a bigger event. i hope it's being taken seriously.
