Does anyone know who I would contact in Loudoun County about filing a complaint about Southern Walk Apartments and possibly Van Metre? I have had a heating issue in my master bedroom now for over 4 months with nothing being done. Up until December it wasn't much of an issue but since my son was born January 10th, and now that it is colder, I cannot sit back anymore. I have pretty much had it and have contacted Van Metre's corporate office 3 times this week and am always told the person that deals with this particular apartment complex will call me back. Surprise, surprise, I have yet to get a return call. I am pretty much now looking at it from the standpoint, Van Metre will never get me to buy a house from them. They can't even fix the apartments they rent, why would I buy a house.

Not sure of the exact route or even if it is the county. When I rented, I thought that rentals were covered under some section of the VA Property Act. Might want to do a little digging on the state website, because I sure they have someone to contact.

Usually the local Health Department is the first stop with such complaints.
