Need Advice Deep Creek 101

    Need recomendations on just about everything...where to stay, what to do, where to eat...all that. I know I want to go hiking in Swallow Falls, I would love a house on the lake so the kids could swim. Which side of the lake is preferable? Any info would be great. We are thinking of going late Aug/early Sept. Thanks!

    Watch out for the marine traffic, it's a nightmare in high speed. Nice place but don't expect a quiet shady afternoon on the banks. It's a constant speedway.

    We've been to Deep Creek but only during the winter for skiing and tubing. We rented our houses through www.deepcreek.com. Click on the rental link at the bottom.
