Ok, I may be naive to think that I can find a kennel at this late of a date for a few days over Spring Break. Nevertheless, I would love to hear recommendations for boarding in the Ashburn/Leesburg area. I need a place for my 8 month old puppy for 2 nights in April.

    Thanks!

woofies.com- tell them Beemer's mom sent you! Our 6 month old Jack Russell stayed with one of the walkers over a weekend and it was fantastic for him AND us- call them!!!

I don't know if they have space in April, but I found VIP (http://www.vipboarding.com) to be affordable yet excellent care for my dog last week. The kennel is clean and bright and the people there clearly love and understand dogs. It's about a 30-minute drive to Waterford, and they do pickup/dropoff for additional charge.

I'll second the recommendation for Woofies too - I've used them for dog walking and they are passionate about dogs and go above and beyond in caring for them.

Try Old Mill 703-777-4183 they are usually full this late in the game but you never know.

Backup for me is Club Pet in Chantilly - dont have their number though. I called about 3 weeks before Thanksgiving last year and got in.

And if in house boarding is an option - I would recommend Woofies too.

Club Petz - - we have two dogs that do very well there and they seem to have some vacancies at key times

Club Pet in Chantilly is outstanding! They boarded my cats prior to then shipping them to me in Saudi. I cannot speak highly enough of them and their services.

    Hi Cliff!

Regretably we do not have any plans on returning to the region and much as I hate to say it, our Broadlands home will be going on the market shortly. If/when we do leave Saudi, it would likely be due to my husband having another posting elsewhere but highly unlikely it would be back to the States. My family who had been local to the NoVa area also moved out of the area which further diminished any reason we'd be returning.

But I can say that I will always have the best of memories as a Broadlands resident and will likely still "pop in" to the forums regardless of where I might be!
