    Great Wine. We go there all the time to buy their Reisling. The have a wonderful area by the pond, you can picnic and feed the ducks, etc. I'm not sure about the fireworks.

    great! they are doing firwarks on the 4th- i don't even care if they are great if the wine is good- and Riesling is a fave in my house. thanks for the feeback!

    Riesling is a wine?!?!?! I tought it was "sugar water"!

    many good wines now have screw caps- can't use that as a judgement of quality anymore! guess we'll just have to rely on whether or not Boones is included in the name or not... lol

    if any other wineauxs out there haven't been to Doukenie, GO! The wine was wonderful- Mandolin was my favorite white of the night- and my red wine loving husband was really impressed with the Cab Franc. No Riesling right now but one is coming soon...

    the firewroks were too far away or blocked by trees to enjoy, but we did love the atmosphere, the tour of the place and learning the history of it. So close to hom too- man are we LUCKY here!

    We ended up joining the club so if ever want to do a BHOA forum junkie road trip, we're all in!!!!
