    Here are some local events for Fathers Day weekend. Also, checkout the thread under "Helpful Hints (Sites)--Local Train Rides and Misc. Train Happenings". This thread lists ALL local train web sites which offers specials for Fathers Day events, etc. I will add other events as needed.

    06/17/07, SUNDAY, 11 am-4pm. Colvin Run Mill is featuring a Special Fathers Day Event which includes--a FREE woodcarving lesson with the Northern VA Carvers from 12 pm-4 pm. Nominal charge for wood blanks. FREE tours of the Colvin Run Mill and miller's house for all Dad(s) accompanied with their children. Hand-crank ice cream and a sample of ice cream for 75 cents.
