As a community, can we request and or petition Verizon to get Fios in Broadlands? I am moving back into my townhouse and have no desire to use comcast or dish network or direct tv.

I'm hoping to meet with them in the next few weeks to find out where we're at in the pecking order.

I have currently been living in Broadlands since 2003 and just upgraded my house. When visiting the site of the new home on Mount Auburn (of Broadlands and Glebe) my new neighbor just told me that he saw the Verizon FIOS guys installing fiberoptics and they said that it will be up in some areas in 2-4 weeks! I called to confirm this and the girl on the phone stated she can not guarantee it will be ready in 2 weeks but they are working on it:)
