FOR CHARITY: metal bunk bed/futon

hey neighbors, we are finally getting rid of the bunk bed that the boy has had since he's 6 years old- he's 13 now! we had to throw away the bottom mattress from the futon but the top bunk mattress hasn't been used much at all. we want to donate it- anyone know if a charity that will pick up an item like this?

 

Too bad the women's shelter cannot pick it up. It's a great space saver and a child and parent could both use it.

 

it's too big for either of our vehicles- hopefully someone knows of a charity with a big truck.

 

I would like to see if someone in my school's community could use it, I work at a school in sterling. Also, if you want to get it out sooner salvation army will actually come pick up large pieces of furniture for free, you just have to call to set up appointment.
