Still much work around the front to do, but the small park area immediately in front of the entrance is looking very nice. Do you know if there will be a pre-opening open house of any sort for residents to take a look around?

 

I dont believe so. There has been no word about one to the residents and from what I have heard, they will open the theatre w/out a "big bang". Similar to phase I, they will probably have a grand opening when more of the Lifestyle shops are opened.

 

The regional manager of consolidated theaters Jawed Khan gave me the grand tour yesterday. Very nice gentleman and he is down to the wire on opening. Actually the genral contractor for the exterior is down to the wire. Opening on June 22 will be if the county approves the exterior in time.

But all I can say is Wow and wow. From the large trees planted at the very large entrance plaza and the large lighted granite fountain. For a new theater it is extremely well done but not overly so.

Leather full rocking seats and the state of the art sound and picture.

If any of you are interested I am going to play hooky one day the week of the 25th if they are open.

I have a few buddies and my kids going to watch a movie matinée and have a early dinner or lunch at Anothai.

I will try to get Jawed Khan to give us the red carpet treatment
