    Does anyone know of a nearby roadside stand or store that sells local homegrown tomatoes that actually taste like tomatoes?

    There's one just outside of Leesburg on Route 15 South or take 15N to Lucketts and there are multiple farmers markets.

    There is an excellent farmer's market on Wednesdays from 4 to 7 in Sterling. Several farmers there, and wonderful produce.

    There is also one in Herndon, I believe that one is on Thursday's. It is located just behind the old town hall building.

    The best one we have found is on the east side of Rt 15 just below Lucketts -- a little bit of a hike, but worth it.
