Hey ya'll! My son's baseball team is participating in a wood bat tournament with a goal to raise $250,000 for local pediatric cancer patient care. each player is responsible for raising donations.

I thought rather than have The Boy wash or sell something, why not have him DO something. So, here is his fundraiser- if you have a child who is a beginner in baseball that would enjoy a "big brother" baseball session, READ ON!

    Baseball Big Brother Fundraiser

Please support Gino's effort to raise funds for Kyle's Kamp- a baseball tournament partnered with Children's National Medical Center to cure childhood cancer and provide local pedriatric cancer care.

thanks! he's at the age where he needs to be more involved in the world around him. :)
why not make a growth experience out of a great cause!

he's also an only child and is so good with younger kids, he'll get a lot out of the experience as well.

one new addition: this is his fundraising page- so if you like the idea of donating even if you don't have a ball player- you can do so here. The fact that this will help local families dealing with pediatric cancer makes it that much more impactful for our community. :2thumbs:

But I hope to see him train at least 20 aspiring ball players for this fundraiser. Thanks for all of the positive responses I received so far!!

Someone had to get this ball rolling, so to speak. Donated my standard "soft touch" amount. Good luck, and thanks for doing this!

Hi neighbors- Gino's first training session went really great! We are so proud of the initiative he took in creating his own training plan, and active interest he took in really teaching and improving the mechanics of his student. He takes his responsibility very seriously and enjoyed the smiles and progress he saw- especially when his student his one over the fence!

He has openings during the week at 5:30, and saturdays, so if you want your little leaguer to have the Big Brother Baseball training experience, please let me know!
