    The following information was taken from the Daily Sheriff's Department Report:

    04/10/13
    1247 hrs.
    22500 block - Belmont Ridge Rd., Ashburn
    Drunk in Public: Briar Woods High School personnel notified a Loudoun County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer that an employee was possibly under the influence of alcohol. Timothy A. Reed, 52, of Ashburn, an athletic custodian at Briar Woods High School was charged with drunk in public. Reed was working on a sports field and had been consuming alcohol while on school grounds. He had no contact with students.

    Doesn't LCPS do drug/ substance abuse and background checks on ALL employees??? This is the second high school incident in about a month (the other was at Broad Run). I can't imagine this is the first time this employee decided to drink on the job.

    They don't test for alcohol.

    They do a background check...not sure if there's a drug test involved.

    On the flip side...how many drunk parents are dropping off or picking up children everyday?!!!!!!!!!!!
