Since the prices for gasoline have reached record highs, I thought we could all benefit a posting of local gas prices -- preferably the cheapest ones!

I'll start with the prices at Costco on April 6th: 1.649 for regular and 1.799 for supreme.

Anyone know of a cheaper station? Similarly priced, but closer?

Similar priced but not closer is the 7-11 across from Costco in Sterling. This is helpful for those people who may not have a Costco membership.

Shows what close proximity to competition can do. In fact, both Costco and 7-11 are very busy, neither seem to be hurting.

Sort of makes you think of the value of competition for healthcare services.

I paid $1.79 for Super in Warrenton (drove to W&M). So, that is a great price at Costco.
I fill up at the Sheets in Opal (Rt 17) on the way to the college and fill up same place on the way home. It is the best price out in the boonies,
so I think $1.79 is as good as it gets for now, for Super that is...

We don't even have it all that bad. I paid $2.44 for premium on my trip last week to L.A.
