Am I the only one who thinks the food is bad, and I mean real bad?:

Calamari: rubber sticks, tasted like something below the Long John Silvers rung.

    Kids burger: burnt leather.

Kids mac & Cheese: cheese hadn't even been fully melted! Wouldn't have mattered . . .

Signature wings: not too bad, but ordered them crispy and they came out undercooked. Still, flavor wasn't anything remarkable.

Fries: ice cold across the board.

Chicken tenders: tough to screw them up, so instead they gave us a dollup of honey-mustard and dropped the ball on getting us more.

Onon rings: tasteless and over-battered. Like eating batter only.

We just wanted a quick dinnner of pretty basic fare w/o having to fight with the server and the kitchen for a decent meal. Wasn't cheap either. My advice to those who haven't tried it: Sports Theatre is a better sports bar/restaurant, and even Buffalo Wing Factory is better, and I don't even care much for that place!

I would agree with almost everything you said, except the Sports Theater being better, the better place is the Wing Factory.

We actually had a pretty good meal there. Excellent server who made several requested substitutions/additions to what we ordered without charging us extra and provided great service whenever we needed anything. My son reported that the mac and cheese was the best he ever tasted. It was made with real cheese - and then they sprinkled some more shredded cheese on the top (hence the cheese that wasn't fully melted). There was plenty of melted cheese already in it. My son loved the extra cheese on top - if you don't, you can always request they not add it the next time. While it may not have been the best meal we've ever eaten, we were all happy with the quality of our food and we plan on returning.

As far as 'Family Sports Pubs' go, Glory days is the best we've found. We went for the grand opening and again two weeks later. The food was certainly not 5-star, but very good. The service is good, the environment is kid-friendly, and the menu has a good selection. Wing Factory and Beef O'Bradys are at least one or two rungs below GD. We'll be regulars there.

while I did not care for the "glory day wings" sauce, everything else I have had there has been very good, especially the pork skewer appetizer.

Ahh, always the outlier, that's me! As for the mac and cheese, now that you mention it, I didn't look very closely at it and that might have been the case. Doesn't change the fact that it went uneaten though.

We thought Glory Days was pretty good. I had the BBQ Chicken salad, my husband the Bluecheese Burger and my kids had spaghetti and meatballs. The service was good- although we probably had too many people stop by and check in on us- and the place had a nice family oriented atmosphere.

Did you talk to the manager on duty about the quality of your meal?

I agree that the wings are sub par. I like mine a little hot so they added a side of Tabasco to season it up for me.

    Wing Factory by a mile!

I wonder if they were just having a bad night. My husband and I are fairly picky eaters and we had an awesome meal a couple Fridays ago. We ordered the Triple Play platter and split it. The meat on the ribs just fell off the bone and the grilled shrimp was excellent. The service was great as well. We probably had 3 servers attending to our table.

Had dinner again at Glory Days. Chicken finger. Not bad. Service was good. Now I realized why I didn't go to Clydes? Love that place. Oh thats right they're always packed. :(
