I got this houseplant for Christmas. I don't know what it is. I transplanted it into a bigger pot. The leaf tips have been turning brown and the leaves are dropping off. Please let me know if you know what this plant is and how I can save it.

I think it's a Dragon Tree. I have one. The tips will turn brown if it's not getting enough water (it likes to stay moist, only allow the top level of soil to dry out before watering. I've had a lot of leaves fall off of mine before, but I read that this type of plant sheds old leaves.

They need lots of humidity, so you might also set a few bowls of water underneath the plant to help it in this dry weather.
