Interesting article in the Post last week about how Inova manipulates the regulatory process in order to control the healthcare market.

This stuff is going to continue until competition forces a more consumer oriented environment. Thanks for pointing it out OP

DISCLAIMER: I am a Loudoun County resident and have actively voiced, and will continue to voice, my opinion about the need for a hospital choice within the County. It is an absolute travesty that Loudoun citizens are under-served for health care. Unlike others that may enter into this debate, I am in no way affiliated, employed, or compensated by Inova Loudoun Hospital.

Like I said in other posts...Inova has a long and sorted history of doing this type of "gerrymandering". I agree with afgm...the residents of Loudoun County are under-served and we will be the beneficiaries of having a hospital in Broadlands.

We can only continue to let our elected officials know how we feel. I, for one, will NOT go to Inova in Landsdowne because of how they're handling this. It's Reston Hospital Center for me! I'll vote with my dollars and besides, the Reston Hospital Center's quality rates are FAR superior than the Inova Hospital here.

Let them eat cake (and yes I know, Marie Antonette never said it.)
