Let just say that, perhaps, I had some neighbors (probably a bit intoxicated) who were on their deck all night talking and yelling loud enough to wake up President Obama. They certainly kept ME up.

Who do I call? I've never called the police before...

The "Numbers to Know" on this site have the Loudoun County Sheriff and the Virginia State Police. Do either/both of those serve Broadlands?

This was the second *yawn* night in a row. Just wondering who to call if it happens again tonight

Yes it is the County that serves all of Broadlands/Ashburn. Only cities in Loudoun county can have their own police force (ie Leesburg). If it is not an emergency you can call 703 777 1021 which is the counties non emergency number.

Maybe you should talk to them first.

I know...I know. But I'm a mom who is a bit hesitant to leave my children alone in the house to confront some drunk men. I just don't have it in me. They were using profanity and I was a bit scared. Heart pounding, etc. I would rather have a professional deal with it.

All is quiet now. A few Coronas on their deck, but the party has died down. I just wanted to know who I could call if they keep me up again tonight.

Thank you, Staci. I'll plug that number into my phone.
I've never called the police before, and I'm not the "complaining" type for the most part, but it won't hurt to have that number on hand!

I don't blame you for not wanting to confront them at the time. Maybe you could speak to them during the day when everyone is sober. If it continues....by all means call the police.
