Can anyone recommend a reputable jeweler in the area? I am looking for a locally owned establishment that has been in business for awhile. I do not want to use a chain store. I have a jeweler in Springfield but would prefer not to have to drive.

I have always used Keterman's Jeweler on Catoctin Circle in Leesburg. Their phone number is 703 777-4388. Wonderful people to work with.

I love Aspen Jewelry Designs in Herndon (by the big clocktower w/Chuck E. Cheese in the shopping center).

    2465 Centreville Rd
    Herndon, VA 20171-4586 Phone: (703) 713-6882

They have extremely unique stuff and they also do custom and jewelry repairs.

Now I'm gonna have to go and check out their new stuff:) YAAY SHOPPING!

I had a pearl necklace restrung at Aspen and it came back missing 6 pearls. Luckily the pearls were counted before being restrung so they fixed it but I was never sure whether I got my original pearls back on my necklace or some they just used as replacements. Apparently they sub this work out to homeworkers so the person may have dropped the pearls in her home and lost them that way. Had I known they didn't do this work in-house I wouldn't have used them.
