FYI: I hear through the grapevine that the Johnny Rockets restaurant in Brambleton Town Center opened a couple of days ago.

Careful- Its small so go during an off peak hours until the craze goes away. We were there last night and people were waiting for 20 mins just to sit.

It's a 50s diner style place. So basically we're talking greasy burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches and the like and great shakes. If you like that once in a while JR's has you covered.

Went last night, great food, but they place could be a tad bigger on the inside. It's really a mini Johnny Rockets.

    Good food though!

Tried Johnny Rockets with the family the other night. Awful!

Absolutely don't recommend that anyone try this place for a while until they get the kinks out.

Shake was very, very thin. A simple float took 15 minutes to arrive, later even than the shake. These items hopefully will improve with experience and training.

But, burgers were completley tasteless and one of three was undercooked. Poor quality beef used.

I've eaten at the Georgetown location and it was much better.

We'll probably try it again down the road. Lucky for them they have a great location as there are much better burger places, 5 Guys, even Fosters.

Have tried two seperate times to go to this place and its a no go. If you have a large group, forget about it. They have 3 tables larger then a typical 4-5 person booth. The place is grossly undersized.

The first time, what looked to be the manager was at the counter. Hopefully he paid attention as no less then 5 groups walked out after there was no interaction at all at the door, before we decided to bail as well.

Tonight we went, and everything inside, including the counter was packed, and you couldn't even open the front door it was packed with people waiting.

I just don't see how they could build a place so small.. it doesn't seem practical in that they seem to have more people working inside, then they can even seat customer wise. How can you be profitable like that in a place that I'm sure doesn't have cheap rent. Plus, no one is going to come if 90% of the time they come, they get turned away because there is no where to sit, or even wait.

All I can think of maybe they only planned on walk-up traffic from the theatre or something..

Instead both times we ended up at Fosters where we had quick service and a decent meal.

Agree, that place is just way too small.

As far as having more employees than customers - many places run higher labor than usual during the first few weeks to get everyone up to speed.
