NO WAY!!! We usually have teens all the way up to folks in their 30's-40's...

We welcome ANYONE interested in playing with us, as long as they can bring their computer over to the Community Center, and they own the game we plan to play during that event.

We supply Soda's and pizza, as well as all the network cables, switch, power, etc. Us organizers are adults and members of the HOA Technology Committee, so many parents feel safe dropping their kids off for a few hours.

So, come on down! We're always looking for new folks to frag!
Especially some more adults; those teens are always giving us a good whipping, and we would love to return the favor :D

Unfortuneatly, we don't have the budget to buy the game for all participants, so the people who want to come and play are responsible for purchasing the game before coming to the event. We usually announce the game and date well in advance to help out folks who need to 'budget' in order to get the game...

You're very welcome to come by and play with us; we would love to have you at the event...

    Sorry!

We'll be playing both, but you need at least Battlefield 2 in order to play. Special Forces is an expansion pack...

If you come to the LAN party with a new monitor, you might want to also bring your old one also. Plenty of geeks there to take a look at it and try repairing it for you...

I bought BF2 the other night. Seems my PC and it don't agree :(

Launches.. goes to black screen.. then goes right back to desktop. I don't think my GF4 4200ti can hold up my clunker anymore :(

yeah.. this franken-PC has gone through many things

    - fire
    - fans dying
    - sound conflicts
    - too many drives in it
    - loud *** fans
    - dead cdrom drives

Its only a amd 2400xp (upgraded from an original 1800xp I think), 1gig of ram, sb live, geforce4 4200ti, cdrw, modem, plus usb2/fw card.. and wayyy too many HDs :)

was hoping to build a new one in january, but money crunches killed that idea.. and now that the new core desktop chips will be out soon.. makes you want to wait.. but then you know you will not be buying cheap.. etc. can't win :)
