Does anyone have a large (at least 42"x28") dog crate they'd like to sell or loan to me? I need to re-train my cat to use a litter box and the vet recommends a crate for him to limit his space until he learns. :nono:

    Thanks in advance!

I have a crate that's a bit smaller than you posted. Let me know if you would like to borrow it.

something tells me if you get a crate from someone to use as a litter box, they won't want it back... lol

Thanks for the offer, Lilipea. The cat weighs 18 pounds (I know, right!!??) so it needs to be big enough for him to turn around in and still have the litterbox in there. How big is your crate?

Redon - that might apply to my house, too, since the cat has been using it as one giant litterbox. It used to be a couple of places in the basement but he's been expanding his horizons, the little creep.

Thanks, Audrey! The cat is being tested at the vet but I doubt there is anything medically wrong with him. We'll probably have to try the crate training so I appreciate your offer. I'll let you know later today what we find out. Boy, I hope it works! It's been three years of this and getting worse.

No problem; my dog is happy to have it out of the house! Brings bad memories for him :)
