Need Help! Laser Engraving

I have a couple of items that I would like to get engraved. Rather than use a traditional technique I was hoping there was a service in the area that will engrave a METAL item I supply. I see lots for wood, but these items are steel.

Any ideas????

 

For 'quality' engraving I would go to Tiffany & Co - I have had several silver & Crystal pieces engraved by them.

I did use Things Remembered @ Dulles Town Center a few years ago and I thought it was 'ok', but not as crisp/clean as Tiffany's

 

Right - but is it Laser Engraving???? It's rather important here as I do not want the item to be weakened.

yes Tiffany's uses laser technology on our silver, I think they used an etching compound on the crystal. This might explain why it was so darn expensive and crisper than "Things Remembered".
