Lawn weed invasion

    My lawn, as well as several others in the neighborhood, has a new weed that is growing like crazy. It has a bunch little white flowers on it and is 3 to inches tall. I would like to determine the best way to take of them and don't know the name. Does anyone out there know what weed this is?

    We've got those too, out there pulling them this morning. Don't know what they are but they are thriving...

    yeah, this stuff has invaded like crazy this year. I thought maybe it had something to do with seeding from Verizon.. but sounds like it's widerspread.

    It really strangles out alot of other stuff.

    My husband thought it was Bittercress. Either way....weed is weed and it is prolific this year.

    It may be chick weed and I used Weed and Feed last year and it killed it and not the grass and so far only a few sighting this year
