I need to replace 2 bulbs in my lightpost but an ordinary candelabra bulb doesn't seem to work. The bulb base says it needs a Type B bulb and the base of the bulb itself says 130 Volts. I went to Home Depot and could not find any 130 volt candelabra bulbs. Any suggestions?

FWIW ... the 130 volts on the bottom of the bulb, just means that it can be used in a normal 120v lamp. However, if there's a spike past 130v, the bulb may burn out.

Type B: refers to the shape of the glass. Type B shaped bulbs are used in decorative applications.

If you have the three bulb lampposts that has been used by Van Metre in most of northern Broadlands, you can find the bulbs at Home Depot. I use the 25 watt halogen candelabra bulbs by Phillips. They usually last about 6 months to a year.

I recently replaced our lamppost bulbs. After replacement the sensor doesnt automatically switch them off during daytime.
Is there some kind of switch we need to turn on to enable the sensor?
We live in an VM SFH.
    Thanks..

Do you're lights stay on all day? Mine did, and I had to replace the sensor. 10 dollar part @ Home depot.

Yeah ... if the sensor is not blocked by anything in front of it, there is no switch that controls it. Its 'belly up' ...
