Literature Circles Class

LITERATURE CIRCLES for 2nd-4th graders in Ashburn for 2007-2008. Maria Yanoshak, experienced reading teacher, will lead your child through small group book discussions focusing on skills such as vocabulary, questioning, imagery, conversation, organizing thoughts and summarizing. The literature circles will be based on the research by Harvey Daniels. This class will take place Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in Ashburn. Maria Yanoshak has three years experience as a reading teaching. She is currently working towards her Masters in Reading and will graduate in Summer 2008. References are available upon request.
